Little ghosts and goblins may don Halloween costumes and bring treat bags for the 21st annual SpookWalk trick-or-treat event from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, along the riverfront trail in Charles City.
Local businesses and organizations will have decorated treat stations along the trail, starting behind the Charles City Public Library, proceeding under the Brantingham Bridge and looping around Riverfront Park. It is free for youth ages 12 and under, and open to residents from the Charles City area. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
SpookWalk is sponsored by Community Revitalization. This year’s theme is “Halloween Around the World.” In case of inclement weather, it may be rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 30.
