A live birds of prey presentation will be held at the Lime Creek Nature Center on Monday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m.

Saving Our Avian Resources (S.O.A.R.) from Dedham, Iowa will provide the program.

Participants will meet two of Iowa’s most common birds of prey – an Eastern screech owl that hunts by night; and a red-tailed hawk that hunts by day. These amazing creatures have many adaptations that aid in their survival.

There is no charge for this program but registration is required and space is limited.  Please call 423-5309 to register or for more information.  This program is funded by the Clear Lake Jaycees.
