BRITT | West Hancock (5-2) dominated Rockford (0-7) at home 68-2 on Friday night.
The Eagles had all hands on deck, racking up the score and rushing for 438 yards of total offense.
Sophomore Tate Hagen and freshman Cole Kelly each racked up 108 yards rushing for one touchdown each. Hagen averaged 18 yards per carry on his six attempts. Senior MaCoy Yeakel averaged the most yards per carry with two attempts for 91 yards total rushing and two touchdowns. Sophomore Josef Smith ran for 49 yards on three carries and one touchdown. Junior Reed Brown also had a touchdown and rushed for 48 yards on seven carries.
Hagen and Smith each had two two-point conversions. Freshman Cole Kelly, senior Chase Eisenman and junior Gavin Becker each had one.
Hagen led the team with five total tackles, including one assisted tackle for loss. Senior Hunter Hagen and senior Cameron Clark each had one solo sack.
Now at 5-0 in district, the Eagles will battle the undefeated St. Ansgar Saints at home on Friday.
