The West Hancock Eagles moved to 0-2 this weekend after an 8-12 loss to the Belmond-Klemme Broncos.

Senior quarterback Chase Eisenman went 2-for-8 for 33 yards passing and one interception. The only score came from the rushing game. Sophomore Tate Hagen ran for 118 yards and one touchdown, senior MaCoy Yeakel had 68 yards and a two-point conversion.

On defense, Yeakel had 5.5 tackles and Hagen racked up five tackles and an interception. Sophomore Josef Smith had five tackles and averaged 35 yards per punt on offense.

The Eagles will stay at home this week looking for a win against North Butler (2-0).
