The West Hancock boys basketball team ended up on the wrong side of a pair of games over the past week.

The Eagles fell to North Union 69-63 last Friday, and were handed a 77-50 loss vs. Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

In Friday's loss vs. North Union, sophomore Joe Smith led the team with a double-double performance with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Lucas Weiland added 13 points.

Gavin Becker was the Eagles' top performer in their loss vs. GHV as he scored a team-high 19 points and brought down five rebounds.

Smith and MaCoy Yeakel tossed in eight points apiece and Chase Eisenman added seven. Smith also had six rebounds.
