Jean Ann Paca

Jean Ann Paca, 85, passed away on November 24, 2017 at Kavanagh House. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at St. Mary of Nazareth Catholic Church, with the family greeting friends from 10:00 a.m. - 11 a.m. prior to the Mass. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt, Iowa.
Jean Ann was born on a farm between Kanawha and Britt, Iowa, in Hancock County on February 7, 1932, to John William (Bill) and Vera Cleo Faust. Jean Ann became a teacher and taught in Iowa and California before marrying Raymond Paca and becoming a full-time mother and financial investor.
Jean Ann and her husband Raymond were charter members of St. Mary of Nazareth Catholic Church. Her faith was very important to her. Her favorite role in life was being a generous mother and grandma.
Jean Ann will be missed by her surviving family, son, Steven Paca; daughter, Suzanne (Mike) Morris; brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Carmen Faust; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Leonard and Monica Paca; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Kenneth and Dianne Paca; sister-in-law, Madelyn Paca; grandchildren, Shawna (Paul) Venable, Kari Paca, Haley Morris, and Alec Morris; great grand-child Luke Venable and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Paca; her parents; brother, Don Faust; and granddaughter, Marissa Paca.
Heartfelt thanks to the Wesley Life Edgewater, Aster wing medical staff; the Methodist Medical Center ICU staff, and especially the staff at Kavanagh House for their care of Jean Ann.
