BRITT | The West Hancock Community School District will host two Veterans Day programs on Friday, Nov. 10.

The first will take place at 10 a.m. at the West Hancock Middle School gym in Kanawha and feature a performances by the sixth grade band, the seventh and eighth grade band and choir as well as a speaker. Benediction will be led by the Rev. Brian Hofman, a minister at Kanawha Christian Reformed Church.

The second program will be at 2:30 p.m. at the West Hancock High School gym in Britt. It will feature musical performances by the West Hancock Elementary and High School choirs and band. Invocation and benediction will be provided by the Rev. Willie Rosin, pastor at First Lutheran Church. The program’s guest speaker will be Jim Nelson. The local American Legion Color Guard will also be assisting with the program.
