The Bolan community is hosting its 15th annual fall event, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23. Festivities will be in the Bolan Schoolhouse and on Tulip Lane.
There will be a pancake breakfast fundraiser by the Bolan Schoolhouse & Cultural Center, a bazaar and luncheon hosted by the United Methodist Church Women, homemade pie and ice cream, and music by Sam Crosser.
The 17th annual bike ride will depart at 9 a.m., with registration at 8:30.
At 10:30 a.m., there will be a sign and sidewalk dedication ceremony on Tulip Lane. A fundraiser to replace the 1950s sidewalk was launched last fall. Six sites will be “live” along the new sidewalk, with photos and memorabilia: Bolan Store, Railroad & Depot, Barton No. 2 School, Otranto Post Office House, Grandma White’s House, and Trinity United Methodist Church.
